On the first weekend of October, we had our first outdoor ceremony. Luckily the weather was on our side; the sun would peak her head through the fast moving clouds as if she were invited to the wedding, and her friend the wind decided to join her. Due to the fact that the wedding took place at Burg Windeck, which translates to Wind Corner Castle, we weren’t at all surprised that he was there, the name would suggest he enjoys the area. 😉
We arrived earlier than planned, so we took that chance to photograph the preparations. The majority of the guests arrived the day before, a few even earlier, and they were all running around making last minute adjustments getting ready for the big day.
It was a very special day for us: a German-American wedding with all the trimmings that we Germans only see in the movies. It was an all around great atmosphere, and we were welcomed with open arms. The wedding guests gathered from all over the world just to see these two get married. Tanja confessed, she was initially a bit nervous, because she knew her English would be challenged, especially during the portrait session. However, after the first few minutes, she realized it was all for nothing. We all had a great time with a lot of action, bridesmaids & groomsmen, all prepared to do everything asked of them.
Unfortunately, we can’t show all the pictures (that would blow our online storage ;-)), but here are a few to show you just how awesome the day was.
Thank you so much to let us become a part of your wedding! We wish the couple all the best as they embark for their life together!
Many greetings to all the lovely guests from all over the world! It was great meeting you all 🙂
